Flagship project: Technology Group

The Technology Group brings together experts from the Natureef Association and representatives of member companies responsible within their organizations for the area related to the technology of packaging materials and packaging production, as well as specialists from companies offering the necessary machinery and equipment. It serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of techniques and technologies used in the packaging industry, including issues related to recycling, the safety of materials intended for contact with food, innovations based on sustainable solutions, and compliance with legal regulations.

The coordinator of the Technology Group is Dr. hab. inż. Patrycja Wojciechowska, Prof. UEP; Project Manager of the Natureef Association (pwojciechowska@natureef.pl).


Tasks of the Technology Group:

  • Analyzing case studies of technological issues important to member companies
  • Communicating the most important results of interdisciplinary team work to all members of the Association through a newsletter
  • Collecting topics for collaboration from member companies
  • Participation of a representative of the Group in the CEFLEX working group
  • Exchanging best practices in waste management
  • Exchanging knowledge and experiences regarding current market challenges (e.g., monomaterials) between experts representing science and business
  • Developing comprehensive materials (e.g., a guide) supporting the packaging industry
