On 28 October, from 9:00 to 11:00, we invite you to a webinar on ESG VSME reporting.
Why it is worth joining?
VSME is a comprehensive set of guidelines for SMEs across the European Union for reporting on sustainability issues. Compliance with the EU VSME standard is proportionate to the capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises.
In 2024, new regulations came into force in Poland and across the EU, requiring companies to publicly disclose ESG information about themselves (e.g. their carbon footprint, energy consumption, waste management, treatment of employees, and procedures for ensuring business ethics).
The obligation to provide ESG information has been spread over several years. The largest companies are already doing so and must comply with the most advanced ESG ESRS standards. Smaller companies produce ESG reports on a voluntary basis, but in practice they cannot refuse to provide them to, for example, banks, insurers, economic zone administrators, public tender organisers, and even (particularly importantly) those companies that are required to report on ESG. This means that large players in the EU market must choose suppliers that meet ESG standards.
What questions will the webinar answer?
- What is the VSME report?
- How to prepare it?
- Is certification required for an ESG report, and if so, who provides it?
- What exactly can you gain by voluntarily implementing VSME reporting in your company?
The speaker will be Dr Rafał Marciniak from ESG at BFC.
The webinar is free for Natureef members. The price for non-Natureef members is PLN 500.00 gross per person (seller exempt from goods and services tax pursuant to Article 113(1) or (9) of the VAT Act). Webinar materials (recording and presentation) are available exclusively to Natureef members.
